The event will have four parts:
- PRESENTATION OF PROBLEMS: By problem coordinators and companies’ representatives, on Monday, June 8.
- WORKING IN GROUPS: Each group of students, coordinated by one or various experts, will work on a problem.
- PRESENTATION OF RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS: Each Working Group will deliver a report describing the results and conclusions reached, and all members of the group will make a public presentation on Friday, June 12.
- WRITTEN REPORTS: Each Working Group will write a report setting out the results and conclusions reached. Reports (pdf files) should be sent to Martín Avendaño (mavend01@ucm.es), deadline: June 26, 2026 at 23:59.
MONDAY 08-06-2026. Opening session (open to public) – Room INF-3.
- 16:00 – 16:10. Introduction and opening of the XX Modelling Week, UCM
- 16:10 – 16:30. Exposition of Problem 1 (IBM).
- 16:30 – 16:50. Exposition of Problem 2 (Management Solutions).
- 16:50 – 17:10. Exposition of Problem 3 (Grant Thornton).
- 17:10 – 17:30. Exposition of Problem 4 (CEDEX).
- 17:30 – 20:30. Groups start working.
TUESDAY 10-06-2025 TO THURSDAY 12-06-2025. Working in groups at the laboratories.

- Problem 2: Room B-07.
- Problem 3: Room B-14.
- Problem 4: Room B-16.
Working hours:
- Tuesday 09-06-2026 and Thursday 11-06-2026: 9:00 – 14:00 and 16:00 – 20:30
- Wednesday 10-06-2026: 16:00 – 20:30
FRIDAY 12-06-2026. Closing Session (open to public) – Room Salón de Actos.
- Morning. Groups prepare final reports and presentations.
- 16:30 – 19:00. Each working group gives a public presentation describing main results.
- 19:00. Closing the XX Modelling Week at the UCM.
