Schedule

The event will have four parts:

  • PRESENTATION OF PROBLEMS: By problem coordinators and companies’ representatives, on Monday, June 12.
  • WORKING IN GROUPS: Each group of students, coordinated by one or various experts, will work on a problem.
  • PRESENTATION OF RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS: Each Working Group will deliver a report describing the results and conclusions reached, and all members of the group will make a public presentation on Friday, June 16 .
  • WRITTEN REPORTS: Each Working Group will write a report setting out the results and conclusions reached. Reports (pdf files) should be sent to Martín Avendaño (mavend01@ucm.es), deadline: July 1, 2023 at 23:59.

MONDAY 12-06-2023. Opening session (open to public) – Room INF-4 (floor -1).

  • 16:00 – 16:20. Introduction and opening of the XVI Modelling Week, UCM
  • 16:20 – 16:45. Exposition of Problem 1.
  • 16:45 – 17:10. Exposition of Problem 2.
  • 17:10 – 17:35. Exposition of Problem 3.
  • 17:35 – 18:00. Exposition of Problem 4.
  • 18:00 – 20:30. Groups start working.

TUESDAY 13-06-2023 TO THURSDAY 15-06-2023. Working in groups at the laboratories.

Distribution of labs:

  • Problem 1: Room 112
  • Problem 2: Room 113
  • Problem 3: Room 114 and INF-4
  • Problem 4: Room 115 and INF-3

Working hours:

  • Tuesday 13-06-2023 and Thursday 15-06-2023: 9:00 – 14:00 and 16:00 – 20:30
  • Wednesday 15-06-22: 16:00 – 20:30

FRIDAY 16-06-2023. Closing Session (open to public) – Room INF-4 (floor -1)

  • Morning. Groups prepare final reports and presentations.
  • 17:00 – 19:00. Each working group gives a public presentation describing main results.
  • 19:00. Closing the XVII Modelling Week at the UCM.
