The 5th International Workshop on Branching Processes and their Applications IWBPA2021

Dear members of the Working Group on «Stochastic Processes and their Applications»,

We are glad to announce you that the 5th International Workshop on Branching Processes and their Applications-IWBPA2021  will take place virtually and online on 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th and 22nd April 2021.

These meetings are held every three years in Badajoz (Spain) since 2009, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the IWBPA 2021 will take place virtually using ZOOM video conferencing tool.

These meetings are promoted by the research group «Branching processes and their Applications», whose members belong to the Department of Mathematics of the University of Extremadura.

The aim of these workshop series is to facilitate the exchange of research ideas in the field of branching processes and related processes, from both theoretical and practical viewpoints.
